Marissa Ippolito

I am a New York City based abstract sculptor. I create texture-rich sculptures that challenge and redefine contemporary societal norms. I produces works that explore themes that I have felt challenged by throughout the years such as toxic beauty standards, dated gender norms and mental health issues. With a focus on pushing boundaries and provoking thoughts, each piece is a journey into the uncharted territories of emotions and societal standards. My work aims to spark conversations and inspire introspection.
